You can request repeat medications by one of the following methods:
There is no repeat prescription collection or prescription query service at reception on a Saturday morning. Reception staff will not have access to the prescriptions for collection, as they are locked away over the weekend.
If you have any repeat prescription requests, please leave them in the prescription box by reception or in the prescription box by the front door, they will be dealt with on the next working day.
Please note the following:
Please note that you must give 48 hours (two working days) notice when ordering your prescriptions.
For your convenience, we would recommend that you make use of the Prescription Collection Service which is available from the following pharmacists:
If you would like one of these chemists to pick up your script the next time your order your medication from us, please complete the attached Registration form and hand it in at our reception desk.
The procedure for ordering your repeat prescription will remain the same - you will contact the prescriptions desk (264506 option 2) or drop in details of the medication you require.
When the prescription has been signed by your GP, it will be collected by the chemist you have chosen. This means that you do not need to collect your prescription from the Health Centre. Instead, you go to your chosen chemist and they will have the medication waiting for you.
The time taken from ordering your prescription to collecting it from the chemist is still 48 hours.
Please note that this arrangement will continue until we receive instructions, in writing, from you. If you prefer to collect your own prescription from the Health Centre, you can continue to do so.
If you have any queries, please raise these with our reception staff who will be happy to assist you.
